Nigeria latest music sensations, Omah lay and Tems have been arrested in uganda for breaking covid 19 guidelines.

They were arrested after their performances at The big brunch, which took place at speke resort, wavamunno Rd, Kampala, Uganda.

This arrest was confirmed by uganda police force on twitter, who said they were arrested alongside the manager and event manager of the venue where they performed.

The Nigerian trio of Stanley Omah Didia alias Omah Lay, Temilade Openyi alias Tems and Muyiwa Awomiyi have been charged to court in Makindye on charges of Negligently doing acts likely to spread an infectious diseases C/S 171 of the Penal Code Act.

It was gathered that the organizers of the event disguised the show as a lunch and dinner event but later on, at night they started inviting artists to perform.

Fans on twitter are upset because the Uganda police have no right to arrest omah lay and Tems since they were not the planners of the show but were only invited to perform.

The matter has also been taken to court and the nigeria police is yet to say anything concerning the matter which is quite surprising as no country has the right to charge a foreigner to court without letting his country know about it.

We hope the nigeria police is already looking into the case, because the Ugandan police have no right whatsoever to charge them to court.
